Can you beleive it's already the 6th of December!!? I sure can't!! But I also have to be extra careful, because Christmas time is usually when kids are extra naughty... But I've been able to pull a brick from our "countdown 'til Christmas Eve" thingey-majig. =)
I can't wait until the 12th!! Every year we go to my dad's ucle's house and "Santa" visits and gives everyone a small present. The tradition is we can't open the presents until "Santa" is gone. Last year I got a Taylor Swift cd. Every year you get something you never expect.
So, I'm just wondering, what are you asking for for Christmas? I have asked for 6 things from my parents, and 5 things from Santa. (I've recenley had my birthday, and I got everything I wanted... except for an ipod touch, but I bought one with my own money with the help of the $100 bill I got from Mama and Papa. Thanks, guys!!)
Talk to you soon!!!

12... Finally!!!!!!!!!
Let me just say, My mom PAMPERS you when you're 12!! She dropped off everyone at school, and grabbed my hand before I stepped out of the car. Oh, but first I should tell you what I got from Mom and Dad . I got 2 shirts, 2 pair of jeans, high heel black shoes, and jewelry? ( I think that's all I got) The 2 jeans didn't fit, so we took them back to JCPenny, but they didn't have the right size, so I picked out a whole new outfit. I got a VERY cute yellow shirt and some skinny jeans ( I'm all about the skinny jeans).
Now back to how Mom pampers 12 year olds. We dropped Michael off at Rhoda's house, and Mom and I went to Walmart. We walked over to the hair salon, and she said to the worker lady, "we're here to color some hair," and at first I thought she was going to color HER hair, but then she said," for Sydney McAlister," So I got my hair colored a red-brown.
Then we went next door and got a manicure!! And not just any manicure I got acrylic nails!!!!!! I would have been able to skip the whole school day if I didn't have a test... but at least I got 100% on the test.
Then after school we went to Clinique ( a make up store) and a lady showed me how to put on the right amount of make up and what kind of make up I should wear. I wear mascara, lip gloss, and eye shadow. Like I said before, we went to JCPenny, yadda yadda yadda!! #D Then headed to Mama and Papa's house.
We had a bunt cake, then opened presents. I got a watch with the switchable bands from Anna and Ryan, homemade hair clips and "Teen Vogue" magazine from Kendra and Chad, and 100 dollars from Mama and Papa!!! Do I have the best grandparents in the world, or what?!!!!
So, that's how my birthday went. Now I can't wait until NEXT year when I'm 13!!!! I'll be a teenager!!! Tee hee!!! #D

Faith in God Award: part 2
Taking the sacrament helps renew baptismal covenants if we: listen to the prayers during the sacrament, eat the bread and water reverently, and think of Heavenly Father and Jesus and why we're taking the sacrament.

He must be watching over me...
On Sunday there was a wildfire caused by a machine gun fire. Here's how it went on Sunday:
When we left to go to Mama's and Papa's house at 3:30, We saw tons of smoke on the other side of the mountain. Then when we got to their house we were watching the news and it said Camp Williams was doing gun testing on a "red flag" day (or red card day... something like that...) and there were sparks that caught bushes and weeds on fire. But at that time we weren't too worried. So after dinner and desert, we left to go home. Now there was more smoke so I got REALLY scared."What if our house burns down? WA!!!" When we got home Dad went to go talk to neighbors that were outside talking. Then our neighbor, Rex, 3 houses up from us, his son is a fireman and he said they had zero control over it and it should be over the ridge in an hour. So most of our neighbors went to go build a fire line to protect the top houses. But then we suddenly saw red smoke, peeking up from the ridge, then bright red flames. All at once everyone started panicking and packing up family pics, birth certificates, and things that could never be replaced. Mom was at work, Dad was hyperventilating, (no one knows how to spell that...) I was freaking out which made the other kids freak out, and deer and other animals were jolting down the burning mountain. It looked just like a volcano, because the fire was all the way down the mountain in 15 minutes. Anna, Ryan, Mama, Kendra, and Chad were there to help us load all our important stuff. We left our house, kissing them goodbye.

Later that night, Mom and Dad saw a youtube video that showed a house that looked exactly like our house burning. But Ryan said our whole street was safe... for now... Then on Monday afternoon, Mom, Dad, and Tory went to Herriman High school where the Red Cross was set up. And right when they stepped through the door, our neighbor, across the street and up one, were just leaving and they said that they are letting everyone that lives on Fort Pierce Way to go and check their houses out. And Ryan was right. All the houses on our street were just fine. The fire stopped right at the fire line, about 100 ft from the top house across the street. But Rex, who has a GINORMOUS yard, had fire through his yard, but it didn't hurt his house or grass. (But it did burn some of his lanterns he has along his little pathways up the mountain.)
But everythings okay now. We're having people come clean everything to get that smokey air out of our house... they're even taking our clothes and dry cleaning them! My Heavenly Father must be watching over me, my family, and our neighbors who also kissed their houses goodbye. Now we're all safe from fire for at least 3 years... but I'm not so sure what will happen in the spring when there's only mud... but all of our neighbors are talking about getting plants and planting them along the mountain. I'll even use my own $ if I have to... (you like the dollar sign instead of the word money?)

OUCH!!!!!!!!!!
Alright, so I was mowing the lawn with Mom, (which you can totally tell which parts I mowed and which part she mowed...) and we were almost done. I had just come out from getting a drink, I had Mom start my lawn mower, and as I grabbed the little handle that boosts the front tires... and suddenly, ZAP!!!!!! I felt this really sharp pinch in my left hand index finger (just so you weren't wondering which finger I was talking about. =) I was relaxed at first then the pain zipped through my finger and I started shaking my had as if I was bit by a caterpillar... =D Mom noticed it and she asked what was wrong, "I think I just got stung by a wasp!" " Are you sure you didn't just get your finger pinched?" " Yea, Mom, remember I've been stung by a wasp before?" (I got stung before between the toes. We were at Herriman beach where there are TONS of wasps. I was sitting with Mom and Rhoda, who went with us, then I decided to go get water for a sand castle. I was at the edge of the beach when I thought I stepped on a sharp wood chip. But then I felt this sharp zap going through my foot, so I ran to Rhoda and Mom and yelled,"GET IT OUT!!! GET IT OUT!!!!!" "OUCH! THE PAIN IS GOING UP MY LEG!!" and Rhoda said, "then I need to give you a shot in your leg if the pain is going up your leg," and then I replied," No, it's just in my foot..." They said I stepped on a wasp and the stinger was stuck. I freaked out like a kid who hadn't studied for a math test. A couple minutes later my foot was too swollen to put a tennis shoe on! So later that night we went to the doctor and he used permanent marker to show how swelled my foot was. It also showed, after he pulled out the stinger, how much of the swelling went down and how much will go down.)
Well, back to what happened on Monday... there was no stinger this time, so that's probably why it didn't hurt as much... but last night I slept on it all night so it hurts like crazy today. It'll hurt even more today at guitar practice, because the index finger is one of the fingers we use the most to play sweet music. Oh, well... "I will survive..."

Happy 9/11!!!
Happy 9/11! I'd like to take the time right now to remember the innocent people that died that day. As soon as I remembered today was 9/11, I wanted to rush to the store and buy a U.S. flag. You know, I've never really been interested in this situation until this year... has that ever happened to you?
See you l8r!!! <- =)
